Beaver County Commissioner CHARLIE CAMP was elected Vice Chairman of the Southwest Pennsylvania Commission, the 10 County regional Transportation Planning and Economic Development organization. The Commission also elected Dan Onorato, of Allegheny County to be Chairman.

“I want to use my new SPC position to continue to promote and
complete highway and bridge projects in Beaver County” said Charlie.

Charlie also has been appointed Chairman of the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania Governance Committee,by CCAP president and Greene County Commissioner Dave Coder. The Governance Committee sets legislative agendas and lobbies Harrisburg and Washington D.C. on behalf of all Pennsylvania County Commissioners.

Commissioner Camp stated “I am honored to be chosen to lobby the state and federal governments for the counties of this large state of Pennsylvania.” Charles Camp begins his 3rd term as County Commissioner on January 4th 2008.
